This documentary chronicles the story of Nick Mickelis, a Greek Immigrant and World War II survivor. He encountered many hardships in his homeland of Patmos, Greece and eventually, with the help of his brother, made his way to America to realize his dream in the land of opportunity.

His dream became a reality after he met his wife, Pat in Houston,Texas and purchased Cleburne Cafeteria. From those early days of success and later surviving two devastating fires, Cleburne has become a centerpiece in Houston. From the down home friendly atmosphere and freshly made entrees to those oversized mouthwatering deserts, Cleburne Cafeteria has become a family tradition, bringing comfort to Houston.
